Phosphatidic acid is administered orally to aging, bedridden or cachectic patients to improve nitrogen balance. The preferred form of phosphatidic acid for administration is phosphatidic acid-enriched lecithin. Creatine is co-administered orally to increase the muscle-building and strength effect.
